Willemijn van Erp appointed associate professor of Neurological Disorders in Long-Term Care
14 October 2024Geriatric specialist and post-doctoral researcher Willemijn van Erp has been appointed Associate Professor (UHD)/Associate Professor of Neurological Disorders in Long-Term Care as of 1 October this year. Willemijn is committed to personalized and socially sustainable care for people with the serious outcomes of acquired brain injury. She does this as a doctor and scientist, including in the Expertise Network Serious Acquired Brain Injury after coma. She also works for the LBS Knowledge Center and the Mobile ExpertTeam LBS.
'The geriatric specialist is indispensable for people with the most serious outcomes of acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease and other complex brain disorders. This appointment recognizes that importance and anchors the specialist expertise of post-acute and long-term care at Radboudumc and beyond.
