The Henk Eilander Prize: Participate and win €5000,-!
25 January 2024Has your organization come up with a new form of guidance or treatment? Does it improve the well-being or increase the functioning of patients with a long-term disorder of consciousness and/or that of their loved ones? And is your organization one of EENnacoma's network institutions?
Then sign up for the Henk Eilander Prize and have a chance to win €5000 to take the innovation further!
It can be a certain approach, a form of therapy that has not been used before, an application of new techniques, or the use of existing techniques in a new way. Everything is good, as long as it benefits the patient and/or his loved ones. It is not about making the work easier, without the patient and/or their loved ones immediately noticing.
We expressly invite nurses and therapists to apply for this award
Not only do you win a wonderful amount of money, but also...
The "Henk Eilander Prize" is an annual prize and, in addition to a wonderful amount of money, consists of a specially designed print of a bonsai tree in the shape of the brain with its trunk in a pot (with the EENnacoma logo), as a metaphor for the care needed to treat people with a long-term disorder of consciousness: growing, pruning, and feeding and watering.
The drawing was made by Benthe Noordman (Studio North) using a special printing technique called foil transfer.
