News 27 June 2024 Winner Henk Eilander Prize 2024! The Henk Eilander Prize was created in 2023 to give an impulse to innovations aimed at improving the well-being or functioning of people with a long-term disorder of consciousness (LBS) or their loved ones. Think of a new form of guidance or treatment, a new application of techniques or investigating the effects of the use of aids. All organisations of EENnacoma had the opportunity to win an amount of no less than €5,000 with their entry.

News 27 October 2023 Number of people in a minimally conscious state after severe brain injury mapped for the first time  For the first time, it has been mapped out how many people are admitted to a Dutch care institution in a minimally conscious state. It concerns 32 people, according to research led by Radboudumc. In other countries, there is no precise data on this. Now that the size of this group is known, the care for these patients can be further organized.  
News 13 September 2023 Working visit South Korean professor From 7 September 2017, Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine Jongmin Lee paid a three-day working visit to EENnacoma. He is affiliated with the Konkuk University School of Medicine in Seoul and has a special interest in people with severe ABI and LBS in particular. Because hardly anything has been developed in his country for people with LBS after the hospital, he was personally informed about what has been developed in the Netherlands after a conference in Lyon.
