Care program
Early Intensive Neurorehabilitation (VIN)
We believe that people with a long-term disorder of consciousness are entitled to appropriate and adequate care. Early Intensive Neurorehabilitation (VIN) is a treatment program for people with acquired brain injury. It is a program that incorporates both the treatment of medical implications and the rehabilitation treatment.
Care program
Long-term intensive neurorehabilitation (LIN)
If there is still no desired result after the VIN program, the patient continues towards the LIN program. During this (maximum 2-year) care and treatment program, further work will be done on restoring consciousness of the person with a long-term consciousness disorder.
Care program
Chronic care for LBS patients
If the patient has not yet regained consciousness after the LIN program, he/she will continue to the chronic care program in consultation. Together with healthcare professionals, this will look at the most appropriate care after intensive neurorehabilitation.
