As participating organisations, we all have a great interest in ensuring that the concentration of specialised long-term care will also lead to an improvement in the quality of care. The mere fact that the scarcity of highly educated professionals and healthcare workers will become increasingly restrictive means that we are forced to face the facts. Working together to develop expertise for the LBS target group, implementation of scientific insights is not only more effective but also much more efficient. In my role as a director, I am happy to make a case for this.
