Continuously raising the care and treatment of patients with a long-term disorder of consciousness to a higher level, while pioneering, together with other institutions, that is what inspires me to be a figurehead. Together with Manju Virk-Sharma, we represent the target group in the science council of PZC Dordrecht.
I work as a (geriatric) physiotherapist in the department where long-term intensive neurorehabilitation is offered. I am a member of a driven team of professionals, who have the courage to think beyond the boundaries of their own profession, to provide top care together to the patient with long-term consciousness disorder and his/her loved ones.
